Mosaic has been opening up to people beyond Selim for days. Today he got the means to do the opening himself.
no session in the middle
Until now, adding someone meant asking a Claude session. Selim wanted to add and invite people himself, without that. So people became a cube he walks: add a person by name, open the apps for them, send the link, and let them go. Letting go means hiding, never deleting.
This was the last step of a plan that had been built piece by piece, backend first and then the screens. This step checked that every earlier piece was already live, marked the requirements as built, and logged “people as a cube” in cube design.
the first link
Selim tried it, and the first invitation went out by email. The way the invitation works is the same as before: a personal link, and only a hash of it is kept. It is the kind of change that opens the app to others without a session standing in the middle, and it is what makes the next friends easy.
The pace was Selim’s: “we are the only users … so go ahead”, and the small fixes went straight to production.
