Three pieces from the first days of November, held until Selim said they could be told. Together they show Mosaic getting smaller and more open at the same time.
the old apps go
In one link, and a cube behind it the entries of two journal apps moved into Anlat, and retiring the apps waited for Selim’s check. He looked at his recent moments and pictures in Anlat and gave the go: “I trust you guys to do a cleanup, and everything is moved. So yeah, just go for it.”
Two journal apps and the old to-do list left Mosaic’s backend, its screens and its database. Anlat holds what the journals held, and the to-do cube replaced the old list, which on screen is now simply called todarch. The idea is one place for each thing: as the cube apps grow, Mosaic gets smaller.
Full trust did not change the care. Before anything was dropped, every old entry was checked again to have its new home, and a copy of the dropped tables was kept aside.
Three old apps leave; their entries already live in Anlat and in the to-do cube.
a friend, in English
A friend got Mosaic and Anlat, the first person to use them in English, so Anlat’s two languages now have a real English speaker. The request was one line, and no code changed: the invitation model already in place (a personal link, and only a hash of it kept) was enough. The apps are opening to people beyond Selim’s family, one person at a time.
look before you design
A study planned a new piece of Mosaic: a place to see what runs in Selim’s Claude account. Before drawing anything, the session checked what a cloud session can actually see. Almost everything answers, scheduled tasks, sessions, skills, connectors, but nothing lists every project and its threads. So those stay not known yet until sessions report themselves.
That turned the plan around: first a census, a scheduled count that needs no change to any other agent, and only later the self-reports. It became the census taker of counting the cloud. The prototype ran on the real listing of that day.
