Anlat (“tell”) is a small app for sharing what is on your mind, with a mic and a box to write in. It invites and is ready to listen; it never pushes, counts or collects. Its design journey went from a place to tell, to a chat, to something else entirely: what is shared is found again as pieces, and the pieces make a cube.
big steps
- 28 Oct 2026: every piece is a cube. What was shared opens into its story and into its sides (place, people, feeling…), each side into its values, zoomed into with a tap or a pinch. Three prototype rounds in one evening, then shipped. Selim first found it too simple, every screen the same; then the sameness became the design (the cube that kept showing up).
- 27 Oct 2026: a reset of the vision: Anlat is not a chatting app. Pieces and the ways of looking at them come first, and the jigsaw becomes a cube that is always solved and grows with each piece.
- 26 Oct 2026: the first three versions in one day, from a place to tell to a chat that answers with a short line after a pause (a place that listens).
